Carrie Prejean stripped of Miss California title

After defending her to retain the Miss California title previously, Donald Trump gave the word to Carrie Prejean – “You’re fired!”
and just like that, she was stripped of her title.
Meanwhile the Miss California Organization trashes Carrie Prejean, and said: (from E! Online)
“She was disrespectful to her bosses, rude, never civil and only out for her own good,” seethed Roger Neil, a spokesperson for the Miss California organization that was party to Donald Trump’s firing of controversial pageant winner, Carrie Prejean.
Carrie Prejean said that she was “shocked” at the news she had been stripped of her crown and fired back at pageant owner Donald Trump and the pageant producers.
Prejean, who sparked controversy with comments she made against gay marriage, insists the real motivation behind her firing was political: “What’s behind this, I think, is a political debate. They don’t agree with the stance that I took…. From day one they wanted me out, and they got what they wanted.”
Trump said that Prejean refused to appear at roughly 30 events to which she was contractually bound. He doesn’t think her attitude has anything to do with her politics, exposed during the competition earlier this year when she stated during the competition that she’s against gay
marriage.
Tami Farrell, first runner-up to Prejean, will take over those responsibilities left by her.
