So we already have 2NE1 and D’ Wonder Girls, but I really don’t think another all-girl group from South Korea will hurt.
Featuring in this post -- Kara
They actually started in 2007 as a 4-member group. One of the original members had to leave in 2008 because of “parental pressure.” Apparently, the stint with Kara caused Kim Sung Hee’s grade to suffer, that’s why she had to leave.
The group projects were then shelved temporarily while auditions were held to find her replacement and another one to make the group member’s five.
The current members of Kara are: Park Gyu Ri, Han Seung Yeon, Nicole Jung, Goo Ha Ra and Kang Ji Yung.
