Charice gets the nod from NHI. The National Historical Institute (NHI) approved the rendition of international singing sensation Charice Pempengo of the Philippine National Anthem during the Pacquiao-Mosley match in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao personally choose Charice Pempengco to sing Lupang Hinirang in his fight with Shane Mosley last May 8.
