Since I am not really frequenting the “men’s world” of women models and sexy stars, the name Kendra Wilkinson doesn’t really ring a bell. But from what I gather in the news, Kendra Wilkinson was a former Playboy Playmate, have posed nude in photos and was once a live-in girlfriend of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.

So, is it surprising now that she has a sex tape, and this would be released this month by Vivid Entertainment.

Kendra Wilkinson is fighting to stop the release of the sex tape which was said to have been made before she became famous.

In her attempt to stop the release of the sex video, Kendra’s lawyer Yael E. Holtkamp has written to the company telling them to “cease and desist” making the footage public.

“The video is private and highly confidential taken for private use and not for public disclosure,” a letter to Vivid Entertainment apparently reads. “Any exploitation of the video would be a gross violation of Miss Wilkinson’s constitutional and common law rights of privacy.”

However, Vivid CEO and founder Steve Hirsch is convinced his company has the legal right to bring it out.

He said: “After reviewing our legal position we remain confident of our right to distribute the video. Thus Vivid.Com plans to release Kendra Exposed within the next several weeks.”

It looks like Kendra Wilkinson, who is now married to American footballer Hank Baskett with whom she has a four-month old son named Hank Bakett IV, will be losing the legal.

Her name is Erykah Badu and she is naked in her music video Window Seat.

Erykah Badu sheds her clothes off as she walked a sidewalk in Dallas, Texas until she reached the site where President Kennedy was assassinated and fell there.

This was in the controversial video for her song “Window Seat,” which according to the singer was shot “guerrilla style.” There were no crew and all done in one take on March 17.

There were even children nearby, as seen on the video, who saw her stripped as she walked towards the site of Kennedy’s assassination.

As expected, there were mixed reaction to her controversial video when it was released. Some condemn it, while some praise it.

There were no immediate response from the singer’s management when asked for comment, but Badu responded to the controversy via Twitter. She tweeted that “there were children there. i prayed they wouldnt b traumatized.”

The R&B singer said she was making a statement against “groupthink,” which she tweeted was an “unwritten rule” that “i will not express my true opinion if it opposes those i love and fear.”

In the continuing fight against the spread of HIV and sexually transmitted diseases, the government have given free condoms to men.

Now, it’s the ladies turn, as the Washington D.C.  distributed female condoms. It was the first city in the United States to distribute free female condom and they will have them available in beauty salons, convenience stores and high schools in parts of the city with high HIV rates.

This is the city’s shift in empowering the women to have the choice in protecting themselves from HIV and STDs when their partners refuse to use protection.

Because of loud noise during sex, a British woman could find herself inside jail soon. Caroline Cartwright, 48, was officially branded with anti-social behavior. She was ordered by the court to refrain from making those loud noises during lovemaking.

Neighbors were said to hear unusual noises during Cartwright’s marathon romps with husband Steve. They described the noises as disturbing and “like they are both in considerable pain.”

Cartwright was earlier served with an anti-social behavior order (Asbo) because of their “unnatural” lovemaking. In issuing the order, Judge Beatrice Bolton said. “I’ve heard a very short extract of the noise you make and can well see that hour neighbors would be upset and distressed by this.”

She however admitted to having violated it almost immediate, and repeatedly last April. Because of this, she has been given an eight-week  prison terms suspended for 12 months. If she engages in over-noisy sex again in the next year, she will immediately be put behind bars.

An anti-social behavior order is a civil order made against people deemed to be a public nuisance, and is more typically issued for young delinquents using threatening behaviour, or disrupting the peace.

At an earlier hearing the court was told that the local council set up special equipment in a neighbor’s flat and recorded noise levels of 30-40 decibels, peaking at 47, as loud as a conversation in the same room.

In a hearing, Cartwright told the court that she has been trying to restrain herself and that it is not something she is doing on purpose.

“I have tried to minimise the situation by having sex in the morning, not at night, so the noise was not waking anybody.

I was browsing the net when I saw one of the buzz on the Google News of another Miss Universe scandal, followed it and all the links that talk about the scandal.

At first it was an alleged threesome involving Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobacco 2008 Anya Ayoung-Chee and Miss Universe Japan 2008 Hiroko Mima, who were said to be in a video having sex with Anya’s boyfriend Wyatt Gallery, and also with each other.

But on the TMZ report, it was said that the video was apparently only “half-authentic” as one of the women in the video is NOT a world-class beauty pageant winner.

Gallery, Anya’s boyfriend who took the video himself, said so.

He admits though that it was Anya, his girlfriend, who is one of the woman in the video. But the other woman, is not Hiroko Mima of Japan. Gallery said it was just a really, really close friend.

Gallery even cried that he was also a victim with the video coming out all over the web.The sex video which was believed to have been shot in New York in 2007 may have been stolen from his laptop when he took to a Trinidad computer shop for repairs.

He said he feels horrible and embarrassed for Anya, her family and himself. The video was supposed to be a private moment and was never intended to be made public.

He also said that he had no part in the leakage of the video and is already talking with lawyers on a possible lawsuit on the perpetrator and anyone who continues distributing the video.

“…and I feel stupid for not deleting the files off of my computer,” Gallery told TMZ.

The Miss Universe pageant replied when asked about the scandal involving the Miss Universe contestants:

“This was apparently eight months after the pageant and neither were the reigning titleholder.”

“The photographer is NOT a Miss Universe staffer so we have nothing to say or any involvement, thank goodness.”

Maybe this won’t be a surprising news to those in the field of medicine, but I was surprised when I read that sex can cause amnesia.

This was reported in the CNN website, what happened was that a couple had sex and after that, the woman seems to be disoriented.

It was one August morning in 2008, as Scott and Alice lay on the bed, the woman turned on the TV and was surprised to find the Olympics. She asked her husband if there is indeed an Olympics going on.

The husband noticed something was wrong, and he asked her questions, like who is their president, to which Alice replied “Bill Clinton.”

Convinced that something indeed was wrong, Scott jumped out of bed and called 911. Alice was rushed to the emergency room.

In the hospital it was diagnosed that Alice had the medical condition called transient global amnesia (TGA) in which  patients lose their ability to retain immediate memory.

It was described as a rare neurological condition that usually occured in patients over age 50. Neurologist noted that patients knew their identities, but they couldn’t retain recent memory, like where they were and how they got there.

In the hospital, Alice repeatedly asked how he got there, and he couldn’t believe when Scott told her what happened.

“Let me get this straight. We had sex. I wind up in the hospital and I can’t remember anything?” Alice said. There was a slight pause.

“You owe me a 30-carat diamond!” Alice quipped, laughing. Within minutes, she repeated the same questions in order, delivering the punch line in the exact tone and inflection. It was always a 30-carat diamond

Although it isn’t always sex which causes TGA. It usually occurs after the person engages in strenuous activity — sex being one of them, vigorously exercising, suddenly immersing into icy or hot water, straining to dig a stuck car or even bumping the head.

Patients who have a history of migraines and headaches are more likely to get TGA as some people report getting terrible head pains related to orgasms, called coital headaches

“I remember the previous night going to sleep with a subtle headache and not taking anything for it,” Alice recalled. “And apparently, the next morning, my husband and I had intercourse. From what I found out, there was an orgasm.”

Experts say TGA usually occurs once, however,  in some cases, it could become recurrent.

Although she has recovered fully, Alice still cannot remember what happened that morning. The last thing she remembered was going to bed the night before with a slight pain in the right, rear area of her head.

“I was lucky because nothing bad came of it,” said Alice, now 60. “I wasn’t frightened. My husband and family were frightened. I was totally out to lunch.”

But the amnesia incidence, Alice said, had not deterred her sex life, but now, she avoids having intercourse when she has  headache. She tells her husband, “So sorry, you can wait.” Until now though, she has yet to receive a 30-carat diamond from Scott.
