It’s not like it’s really our business. But hey! Tiger Woods is popular and it can’t be helped that everything he does goes into public scrutiny.

From the car accident he had some weeks ago, the news on Woods now plays on his liking to prostitutes and spending money on them – BIG MONEY!

Woods was said to have “spent $65,000 on prostitutes.” Well, he can afford it.

And Michelle Braun, a Hollywood madam has spilled the juice on Woods “pretty big appetite for women.”

She said, “One of his favorites was Loredana Jolie,” and described her as a gorgeous blond who is a Playboy model from Sicily who’s been living in New York City since age 14.

Braun also said that Woods was rarely with just one girl, and he liked three-ways. “He would request the college-cutie, girls-next-door look,” she said.

She also said the girls marveled at Wood endurance. “He could go for days,” she said. The girls also said he was a “real gentleman” and a good lover. Aside from showering them with gifts, “he was very polite and was amazing in bed… very sensual and well-endowed,” Braun added.

And to think all these news started with a car accident.

Saw it first on my twitter timeline. Many were sad, and shocked, on the news that Oprah will end soon.

Yes, the popular talk show Oprah will end in 2011, according to the report in the CNN website.

The report further said the Oprah Winfrey will formally announce this on the Friday’s edition of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

“Oprah will be ending her talk show,” said Don Halcombe, spokesman of Winfrey’s Harpo Productions. “She will be speaking about in on tomorrow’s live show.”

The show was said to end on September 9, 2011, as its 25th season draws to a close, according to a letter from Harpo Inc.

Many were surprised and saddened by this news because Oprah has a lot of televiewers all over the world, this author included. It has been a consistent top-rating talk show for 23 consecutive seasons.

According to the Oprah.com site, it is seen by an estimated 42 million viewers a week in the United States and is broadcast to 145 countries.

I am guessing, that perhaps this could be just temporary (I hope), and that a new show (perhaps with a similar format) will air soon… of course, I could be wrong.

Maybe this won’t be a surprising news to those in the field of medicine, but I was surprised when I read that sex can cause amnesia.

This was reported in the CNN website, what happened was that a couple had sex and after that, the woman seems to be disoriented.

It was one August morning in 2008, as Scott and Alice lay on the bed, the woman turned on the TV and was surprised to find the Olympics. She asked her husband if there is indeed an Olympics going on.

The husband noticed something was wrong, and he asked her questions, like who is their president, to which Alice replied “Bill Clinton.”

Convinced that something indeed was wrong, Scott jumped out of bed and called 911. Alice was rushed to the emergency room.

In the hospital it was diagnosed that Alice had the medical condition called transient global amnesia (TGA) in which  patients lose their ability to retain immediate memory.

It was described as a rare neurological condition that usually occured in patients over age 50. Neurologist noted that patients knew their identities, but they couldn’t retain recent memory, like where they were and how they got there.

In the hospital, Alice repeatedly asked how he got there, and he couldn’t believe when Scott told her what happened.

“Let me get this straight. We had sex. I wind up in the hospital and I can’t remember anything?” Alice said. There was a slight pause.

“You owe me a 30-carat diamond!” Alice quipped, laughing. Within minutes, she repeated the same questions in order, delivering the punch line in the exact tone and inflection. It was always a 30-carat diamond

Although it isn’t always sex which causes TGA. It usually occurs after the person engages in strenuous activity — sex being one of them, vigorously exercising, suddenly immersing into icy or hot water, straining to dig a stuck car or even bumping the head.

Patients who have a history of migraines and headaches are more likely to get TGA as some people report getting terrible head pains related to orgasms, called coital headaches

“I remember the previous night going to sleep with a subtle headache and not taking anything for it,” Alice recalled. “And apparently, the next morning, my husband and I had intercourse. From what I found out, there was an orgasm.”

Experts say TGA usually occurs once, however,  in some cases, it could become recurrent.

Although she has recovered fully, Alice still cannot remember what happened that morning. The last thing she remembered was going to bed the night before with a slight pain in the right, rear area of her head.

“I was lucky because nothing bad came of it,” said Alice, now 60. “I wasn’t frightened. My husband and family were frightened. I was totally out to lunch.”

But the amnesia incidence, Alice said, had not deterred her sex life, but now, she avoids having intercourse when she has  headache. She tells her husband, “So sorry, you can wait.” Until now though, she has yet to receive a 30-carat diamond from Scott.

So what happened then to sex as the best for a woman’s headache?

Last April, I blogged about a news I read saying Farrah Fawcett was hospitalized. It was honestly the first time for me to hear about her again after a long time.

For one who grew up watching Charlie’s Angels, it was really a sad news for me to hear that she was sick.

Now, the latest new is even sadder, because Farrah Fawcett died at the age of 62.

Just this week, I was reading a news which says that Ryan O’Neal was about to marry her again. But as fate would have it, Ryan O’Neal never got to marry Farrah Fawcett.

The death of Farrah Fawcett was confirmed by Paul Bloch, one of her representatives at Rogers and Cowan, an entertainment public relations firm. Bloch said the iconic actress died Thursday morning at 9:28 AM.

Fawcett, who checked into a hospital in early April, had been battling anal cancer on and off for three years.
